At least there is an acceptable choice to having to pay around $40 every month for your wireless phone basic charge. Net10 has a low monthly cost of $15 – plus No Contract! Net10 also sells a large variety of heavily reduced Cell phones, from $19.99. To check Net10phones, click HERE .
The top guns in this market; AT&T, Verizon, Blackberry all have cell plans that are remarkably alike that cost the user a minimum monthly cost of approximately $40 – which includes a certain amount of air time, and then charge additional fees for minutes at different times and with certain rate structures (see chart below).
However now you can also find prepaid similar to the one Net10 has. There is still a monthly fee, but with the case of Net10, it begins at $15/month which includes 150 minutes of call time. So that works out at a per minute charge of 10c – and that is the charge no matter how many minutes you use.
But 2.5 hours a month is not many- just about 5 minutes a day – but it is easy to add on time either online, via a toll free number or at a large selection of national retail stores like Walmart, Target and Kmart. For details of all locations, click on one of the links in the first paragraph.
To keep any account current, you must buy a minimum of $15/month (150 mins). If, for some reason, you do not use the minimum requirement of minutes, any unused time willaccrue, so you don’t lose them.
Coverage is all all over the US, with a few minor exceptions- like rural Alaska – just like every Mobile phone plan.
